The Mid-America Science Park launched its Green Energy Training Initiative with a full suite of courses available at no cost to area business owners and their employees in both Indiana and North Central Kentucky.
The courses including Solar Photovoltaics, Geothermal System Installer, LEED Green Associate, Energy Auditors, Building Analysts and more are currently available at no cost thanks to a U.S. Department of Labor State Energy Sector Partnership (SESP) Grant being administered by the Region 10 Workforce Investment Board.
Employees or business owners themselves who successfully complete the courses will upgrade their “Green Energy” job skills, while acquiring valuable credentials associated with the course subjects.
Builders, general contractors, engineering firms, architects, HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians and others in the construction industry are encouraged to view the course offerings on the MASP web site (www.maspark.org/GreenEnergy )
