The Mid-America Science Park is offering training programs for small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to improve operations and grow their businesses. Space is still available for a two-day QuickBooks workshop on Aug. 29 and 30, and there is no cost to attend.
The QuickBooks workshop will span two days and run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., covering a variety of topics focusing on the QuickBooks Pro version. QuickBooks is an accounting software used by more than 80 percent of business owners. While classes such as this one can cost as much as $200 per student, MASP will offer training at no charge to attendees thanks to a USDA Rural Business Opportunity Grant. The class size is limited to 16 students.
