Go From Veteran to Business Owner
The Mid-America Science Park is inviting veterans interested in starting or growing a new business to apply for V2B — a new program offering start-up training, one-on-one mentoring and seed money for eligible start-up expenses. Veterans will learn how to hone ideas, develop a strategy and build a network to help grow a business. THERE IS NO COST FOR VETERANS TO PARTICIPATE.
The one-on-one coaching will be provided at the Mid-America Science Park to assist veterans leading up to, during and following the 10-week program. V2B participants will have access to local business owners in Scott County and the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs.
V2B classes will be administered by the University of Louisville and will meet in the evening in Louisville from 6-9 p.m. for 10 weeks, beginning in September. Each session will feature a presentation by a successful business leader, providing the opportunity to engage the local entrepreneurial community.
